Purpose of  MSc program
"Immunology, Basic Principles and Clinical Applications"

The MSc "Immunology: Basic Principles and Clinical Applications" aims in highlighting the importance of interdisciplinary teaching, the promotion of knowledge, the acquisition of clinical and laboratory skills, education and research in the broad and developing field of "Immunology: basic principles and clinical applications".

The purpose of the MSc is to prepare graduates holding an undergraduate degree, for studies at a Ph.D. level, as well as to cultivate the clinical and laboratory skills of young scientists in the latest technical and clinical methodologies in the broad and developing field of "Immunology: basic principles and clinical applications".

Graduates of the MSc will be able to:

a) Staff clinics, diagnostic treatment centres and research laboratories in the broad field of Immunology and its clinical applications.

b) Teach adequately to undergraduate students of Universities the subject of "Immunology" and the corresponding laboratory or clinical applications.

c) Acquire interdisciplinary knowledge and laboratory skills in the field of Immunology that will prepare them for Ph.D. studies.

d) Acquire the theoretical knowledge and practical skills (clinical & laboratory) so that they can become competent professional executives in clinical and research units in Health Sciences.
